AI Agents Keep Dominating Seed

As we close in toward the end of H1 2026, the race toward agentic employees keeps heating up. Databricks announced Genie One. Anthropic just launched Tag to let Claude join your Slack as a team member.
At the early stage too, AI agents showed up as the single most dominant segment. Here’s a look at last week’s numbers:
June 14-20: Top Line Numbers
63 early-stage AI deals | $522.9M raised | 15 countries | Median: $3.4M
The split: 43 Seed, 12 Pre-Seed, and 8 Pre-Series A early-stage AI deals.
Biggest round: Ent ($100M Seed). Total seed funding is up over 50% week-over-week.
The Signal
The number that matters: AI Agents showed up in 52% of deals. 33 out of 63.
Where the money went: Developer Tools & AI Infrastructure led with 13 deals (21% of deal flow). FinTech and Marketing & Sales Tech followed at 19% and 11%. San Francisco led at 9 deals, New York City followed with 8. The top 5 cities held 69% of funding dollars.
Breakout Early-Stage AI Startups
1/ NewCore raised $66M Seed in Tel Aviv, the week’s second-biggest round. The platform discovers, secures, and governs every identity within an enterprise—including human users, machine accounts, and AI-driven ‘agentic’ identities. Cyberstarts, Index Ventures, and Evolution Equity Partners led.
2/ Frontier Health raised £9.7M Seed in London. They integrate with existing hospital IT systems to automate and simplify high-volume administrative work, such as processing referrals, managing waiting lists, booking appointments, and handling patient communications. Atomico led, with Firstminute Capital and XYZ Venture Capital participating.
3/ Rainbow Crops raised $11.25M Seed in Ghent. Business model involves partnering with seed and breeding companies, licensing the output of its platform, and earning royalties from commercialized varieties. LIFTT EuroInvest led, with Agri Investment Fund, PINC, and others participating.
4/ Karo Sambhav raised ₹560M Pre-Series A in Gurugram. It designs and implements Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs, helping them collect and recycle waste related to their products. Rainmatter led.
5/ KLIPY raised $3.8M Seed in the Bay Area. They turn expressive media into developer infrastructure. Apps can integrate, manage, and monetize gifs, stickers, memes, and short clips. Google AI Futures Fund led.
6/ Ent raised $100M Seed in SF. Traditional security tools react after the fact. They watch endpoint behavior in real time and claim to intervene before threats spread. Decibel Partners led.
7/ Monument Technology raised £18M Seed in London. It provides a Banking-Platform-as-a-Service (BPaaS) for financial institutions.
8/ Cortea raised €12M Seed in Berlin. It is building the quality layer for AI-powered audits, helping firms use AI with greater trust, consistency, and professional oversight. Dawn Capital led, with Cherry Ventures, Mosaic Ventures, and Larry Bradley participating.
9/ Warren raised €10M Seed in Ghent. It integrates data from payslips, national pension records, and bank transactions to provide personalized guidance on financial decisions. Motive Ventures led, with F Capital, Entourage, and others participating.
10/ Seqana raised €3.2M Seed in Berlin. Their tech uses machine learning, satellite imagery, and ground-truth data to provide scalable Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) for soil organic carbon. Pymwymic led, with High-Tech Gründerfonds, Counteract, and Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank participating.
11/ Qorelo raised €3M Seed in Berlin. Their tech acts as an AI colleague for SAP teams, automating manual and repetitive tasks such as fit-gap analysis, custom code analysis, documentation, and configuration guidance. HPI Ventures and Caesar Ventures led.
12/ Soource raised €3M Seed in Bolzano. It addresses the common issue of fragmented, incomplete, and unverified supplier data in procurement. Vertis led, with Tenity, 360 Capital, and Club degli Investitori participating.
13/ Contravault raised $3.1M Pre-Series A in Bangalore. It develops an AI-powered platform to automate and simplify the tender, request for proposal (RFP), and contract management processes. Chiratae Ventures led, with Titan Capital Winners Fund and Titan Capital participating.
14/ Terraxy raised $3M Seed-2 in Thuwal. A spin-out from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), the company’s patented technologies address the key challenges of desert agriculture: inefficient water use and poor soil nutrients. WAED Ventures led, with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology participating.
15/ NexDash raised €2.5M Pre-Series A in Berlin. They operate as a “Neo-Carrier” by acquiring established mid-sized trucking companies. Then transitioning their diesel fleets to electric vehicles, and managing them through its proprietary AI-powered platform, NexOS. EIT Urban Mobility led.
